Why We Exist

Support Studio exists to improve the life outcomes of people living with mental health and disability. We do this by creating supportive relationships and environments that put the person at the centre of their support.

We're a values-driven organisation that works with integrity and excellence, for the benefit of the people we support and the people who work with us.

Our Approach

Everything we do is built on two things: supportive relationships and supportive environments.

Supportive relationships

  • Trust first: Our support is trauma-informed; we build safety and trust before anything else.

  • Your voice: You have real choice and a say in how your support is designed and delivered.

  • Strong communication: We communicate openly and honestly with you and your support network, and our team works together so everyone is on the same page.

  • Consistent people: We match you with staff who suit you, and keep them consistent wherever we can.

Supportive environments

  • Homes that fit: Quality homes, with housemates matched on interests, needs and personality.

  • Places to connect: Groups and activities where you can belong, try new things and build skills.

  • Safe and predictable: Clear plans, strategies and routines that help you feel settled and in control.

Our Team

Great outcomes come from well-supported staff. Our team is qualified, experienced and highly skilled, and we invest in them through ongoing training, supervision and reflective practice, so they're well equipped to support every person we work with.

At Support Studio, every child and young person we support has the right to feel safe, respected and heard. We have zero tolerance for abuse, neglect or harm of any kind.
